Greece in May and early June is a revelation to those who only know the country in summer – the air is fresh and all the hills and meadows are green and covered in wild flowers. Our schedule mirrors Greek island life, with rehearsals in the morning and early evening, leaving the afternoons and late evenings free for other activities. ![]() The venue used for the bulk of our rehearsals is an open-air amphitheatre www.zeidoros.gr less than a stone’s throw from the sea in Kapsali . Our approach to music making is inclusive, focussing on the quality of our sound, aiming to convey the joy of music to our au Our tutors, Danai Loukidi (violin), Ruth Gibson (viola) and Robin Michael (cello) are all recognised internationa performers, as well as both being great teachers - encouraging, informative and inspirational at all times. In addition to their teaching and conducting roles they give a concert of their own during the course of the week |
![]() Year by year we continue to build on links with local musicians, with the established wind band - the Potamos Philharmoniki - and with the Kythira Community Strings Orchestra set up by Allcomers Music this past summer.
